Decided to move my blog to my website host here rather than keep posting on my Wordpress blog and post a bit about my last few months.
I’ve been volunteering at Desoto National Wildlife Refuge this Spring and Summer. Here’s a sunset from there earlier this year.
And I got to see these little Chipping Sparrows grow from eggs and leave their nest. (These photos were taken with my phone so excuse the quality).
Last month I posted a model call on my Facebook page to find someone who would let me take portraits of them. I needed to practice flash off camera for my photography course through NYIP. The two photos below were taken before I got the flash out. I love natural light for portraits so much more than flash but I’m going to have to get over that and practice with flash more often.
Earlier this month, I went with my aunt for a drive in my new (to me) Impala. We drove around on back roads in the Loess Hills. We found this bridge (pictured below with my aunt on it) that another photographer had told me about. I hope to make it back to it to use it for portraits sometime. I think it would be cool to use for family or senior portraits.
Well, that sums up what I will post for now. Don’t want this post to be too horribly long. Haha. :)
